Ohm blessings

Have you ever read the book one thousand gifts by Ann Voskamp?  If you haven't I encourage you to. You can read her blog to get a better understanding of the book.  In a nut shell she takes the hardships of this world and chooses to find the gifts in those hardships and the many gifts this world has to offer daily.  Many times I get stuck in the "I don't have" or "this happen to me" or "I don't look like that"'s, when I should be looking up and and thanking God each and every second for the things I DO have.  I have no idea how long those gifts will be around and I want to thank God for them as much as possible before they could disappear.

This year I wanted to do something similar to what Ann Voskamp did and share my blessings with you all, through pictures.  I am hoping to do one(or more) pictures everyday and if I miss a day I will catch up!

Mr. Barkley (aka: Barkles, Bark, Buddy, Bud)

He has been through so much with me and that sweet face has always been by my side.  He is always there to greet me at the door or snuggle by my feet at night.  He is so sweet and those eyes get me every time.  He will try his hardest to lick you and his favorite spot is under a blanket.  I love you buddy!
